Emilia Milcheva: The problem with the controlled vote is bigger than with bought ones - 1

The genesis of buying and selling votes lies in all the unsolved problems of Bulgaria, and they are several, and the Ministry of the Interior cannot deal with it, because it "treats" the consequences.

The comment was made to the BNR by the journalist and political observer Emilia Milcheva and added:

"We know how by writing off debts and through drug dealers it is influenced to buy votes. How many of these problems related to poverty and vulnerable groups of people, isolated and ghettoized, has been solved in all these years by whatever government has been in power? Not one! And where are votes bought and sold - in democracies that are underdeveloped or in decline".

According to Emilia Milcheva, the activity demonstrated by the Ministry of the Interior is due to "talking loudly about lists of names of buyers":

"I do not believe in these actions of the Ministry of the Interior, because they cannot cover all groups, and they are due to unresolved problems of the state itself and are not from yesterday.

The problem with the controlled vote is bigger than with bought ones, the journalist pointed out:

"Because the controlled vote totally destroys all hope in the man who is so oppressed and tied to the one who gives him his bread that he does not even dare to think that he can vote in any other way, because he knows that neither an institution will not step in to support him if he is thrown out of a job, for example.... In a small community, you are doomed to a lot of punishments and beatings if it turns out that you voted for the wrong person. They can send you all kinds of clubs to crush you. Which sounds very sad".

She emphasized the lack of information on the percentages of bought and controlled votes in the elections held so far.
