The total monetary resource of the State Fund for Guaranteeing the Sustainability of the State Pension System, briefly called the Silver Fund , amounted to BGN 4.229 billion at the end of September this year, according to a reference on the website of the Ministry of Finance.
The amount has grown by about BGN 284 million over the last 12 months. For comparison, at the end of September 2023, the monetary resources of the Silver Fund reached BGN 3.945 billion.
Specifically, in the month of September of this year, the transfers to the account of the fund in connection with the Law on the State Fund to Guarantee Sustainability of the State Pension System and the Social Insurance Code amounted to BGN 12.31 million, according to the data of the Ministry of Finance.
At the end of last month, interest on the funds of the fund amounted to BGN 89.38 million.
