The Constitution needs our protection in the National Assembly. This was said by Assoc. Nataliya Kiselova, a candidate for People's Representative from the list of the Coalition "BSP - United Left". at 23 MIR-Sofia, during the official presentation of her latest book "The Living Constitution". The volume contains 100 of her author's articles, published in the last two years on the pages of "Labor" magazine. and on the website "Dnevnik", which touch on current topics of constitutional and public law issues. What the articles have in common is the struggle to establish the rule of law, against its enemies, the backstage and the criminal state.
"I wrote these articles with the intention of protecting the Constitution. Our Constitution, said Prof. Kiselova. I did not accept the attitude of GERB in 2020. I also do not accept this constitutional situation in which we are at the moment - changes under the auspices of PP-DB, partially declared unconstitutional.
The book was presented by Lyuben Kozarev from the publishing house "Iztok-Zapad", who is also the style editor of the book, by the lawyer and political scientist Miroslav Popov and by the constitutionalist Prof. Dr. Plamen Kirov.
Lyuben Kozarev talks about the philosophical and cultural aspects of the publications. The publisher emphasizes the connection between the title and the cover of the book by referring to the proverb "We tread water, we walk thirsty". Miroslav Popov presented the concept of life law from the 19th century, which represents the legal norms in the life of society and the state. "The Constitution, as a living law, is applied in a specific social environment and takes on a life of its own, he said. - The Bulgarian constitution is alive and the book is proof of that.
Prof. Kirov reminded those present of the role of the BSP in the adoption and protection of the current Constitution. He traced the efforts since 1991 to change its provisions and commented on the crisis of political representation and the role of systemic parties.
At the presentation of Assoc. Nataliya Kiselova's book, the leaders of two of the lists of the Coalition "BSP - United Left" were present. - on 25 MIR Atanas Zafirov, who is acting chairman of the BSP, and Atanas Atanasov - on 24 MIR. With them was the chairman of the City Council of BSP - Sofia, Ivan Takov, as well as candidates for people's representatives from the three lists of the "BSP - United Left" Coalition. in Sofia.
