„BSP-UNITED LEFT will protect the jobs of the people at TPP -s and mines, including through renegotiation of the so-called Green deal.“ This was stated by the chairman of the left coalition Atanas Zafirov in the crowded hall of the Municipality of Kovachevtsi. In the Pernik municipality, he was accompanied by candidates for people's representatives from the local list, including leader Velizar Enchev, mayor Vasil Stanimirov, BSP-Kovachevtsi chairman Ventsislav Todorov, BSP-Pernik chairman Delka Georgieva and regional chairman Kiril Leonov.< /p>
Zafirov emphasized that among the proposals of the left is to turn the coal regions into tax-free economic zones in order to attract investments and create new jobs. “We will not leave a single worker to the mercy of fate”, he was categorical.
Atanas Zafirov specified that in the next parliament “BSP-UNITED LEFT” will fight for the return of justice and solidarity in the state, including in the tax system. “We will end the model of the poor feeding the rich. We will tax the excess profits of the banks, which last year earned BGN 3 billion from their activities in Bulgaria, leave some 10% here and export everything else. Then there will be funds for education, for pensions, for health care, for defense and for everything else,” said the chairman of the coalition.
Zafirov was adamant that the left will be the one to guarantee peace in the country. “We will not allow Bulgaria to become a frontline country. We will no longer be obedient executors of foreign wills that try to make us complicit in conflicts that are not ours. We want peace, not the export of more and more weapons, which lead to the intensification of hostilities, not their cessation,”, he also said.
In conclusion, Atanas Zafirov urged those present to exercise their right to vote on Sunday. “In these elections, the left is united, we have a strong program with 100 concrete solutions for the accelerated development of Bulgaria. Get out and vote for people who have proven to keep their promises and keep their word. Support us with number 28“, appeals the socialist.
