Will there be a record number of parties in the 51st NA and what are the options for regular power? The theme in the studio of “Hello, Bulgaria” commented the journalist Asen Agov, the political scientist Rosen Stoyanov and the sociologist from “Trend” Evelina Slavkova.
"What made the strongest impression on me is that the predictions of our sociologists turned out to be absolutely correct. And this is a very valuable positive development in our work. Many people, probably based on these studies - have decided not to vote because they don't see any change coming. Although they told them: "You can change everything, this is a snapshot,", commented Agov.
"We are in a special, I would say paradoxical situation, in which we have to assume that the many, or for the first time so many parties in the Bulgarian parliament, ensure the so-called representativeness. That everyone has found themselves somewhere in there, but we have drastically low voter turnout. And here let's note that in the summer, when we were on vacation, the voter turnout was formally the lowest, but there was an objective criterion or reason for it to be so. People were on vacation, on vacation. On Sunday's beautiful day - already in active season outside of vacations, there was no such justification," Stoyanov pointed out.
"Arithmetically and politically it looks like there will be a government. Over 60% of voters say there should be a cabinet," Slavkova emphasized.
