In addition to the fact that I received a threat from them, there is currently a pre-trial proceeding against me, Zhechev told NOVA.
„The scheme represents a very good manipulation of people by financial consultants of Ivelin Mihailov and his company. People who are supposed to be selling insurance are very clever at pretending to be financial advisors who can provide passive income to people who don't understand much about investments,” he added.
Lyubomir Zhechev specifies that the wife of Ivelin Mihailov, shown in his film and owning over 150 properties, had a hairdressing salon. “According to Ivelin Mihailov, she earned BGN 6,000 per month, that is, about BGN 70,000 per year. The subtle detail is that in the Commercial Register, this company is at a loss, and its revenues are BGN 20,000-30,000 for the whole year. There is no factual basis for the things that Mihailov is saying,”, the vlogger reported.
According to him, there are over 1,000 defrauded investors. “In addition to “Historical Park” there are many other so-called “businesses”. These are some companies that have negligible income, but own hundreds of thousands, even millions of debts, which are used to buy properties in the village. In any case, the total sum of all those who have invested is over 1,000”, Zhechev said.
In his words, in order to get so many people to agree to invest, proven methods of manipulation are used. “First, trust is gained, but the moment it comes to the creation of the so-called financial plan, the proposals for investment come, which are always in their projects,”, the vlogger points out.
Zhechev notes that the first threat to him was in August, when he received a notarial invitation to stop publishing anything about “Historical Park”. This was followed by the refusal of Ivelin Mihailov to participate in the film, given that he already had consent.
