The regional governor of Sofia: Since 2006 DPS does not have a lease for Al's headquarters. Stamboliyski - 1

The DPS headquarters on Blvd. "Alexander Stamboliyski" not provided in the order for political parties. It was provided under a lease from 1996 which expired in 2006.

This was announced to the BNR by the former regional governor of Sofia Vyara Todeva.

According to her, the party pays compensation to the Regional Administration for the use of the premises, which is BGN 1,109. per month. They have no obligations, she specified.

"This is the price that was in the lease. It has not been extended, they continue to use it and they are charged the same amount," Todeva explained in an interview for the program "Before all".

BSP is also in this situation, she also announced. They stopped paying their compensation after the changes to the law in July 2019. For this reason, Vyara Todeva filed 3 lawsuits against them this year.

These cases are ongoing and they are to pay the sums owed to the state, which are currently over 450 thousand. BGN, commented the former regional governor and explained:

"Obligations have been accumulating since July 30, 2019, when the amendment to the Law on Political Parties was adopted, and they are now entitled to free use. As of that date, the BSP have decided that they no longer owe rent for this building, even though it was not granted to them in this order.

According to her, in many cases, this procedure for providing premises under the order for political parties takes a long time. Todeva pointed out that the party states its desire for what areas it needs. It can also indicate place and location. However, the former regional governor gave an example:

"It was only during my time that ITN and PP were given offices, and those with minimal areas. At ITN - an office of 174 sq. meters, and on the ground floor - 2 offices with a total area of 340 square meters. meters. These premises were used by persons who did not pay their rent and whose contracts had been terminated".

Vira Todeva pointed out another striking thing in the case of the decision of the caretaker government to provide a free building in the center of Sofia for the party headquarters of DPS - New Beginning of Delyan Peevski, namely the area that is provided:

"The decision is written in such a way as to mislead that 554 square meters are currently being provided to DPS. m., but this is not the case. It is clear from the decision that they are provided with the entire building with all floors, which is about 2,770 square meters plus the basement and the ground floor - a total of about 3,300 square meters. The most striking thing is the area that is provided and how it is determined that this party needs to use this area.

The official cabinet decided to provide the DPS - New Beginning party with a property on ul. "Sparrow" 23, used until now by three state institutions - part of the administration of the National Revenue Agency (NAA), the Agency for Public Enterprises and Control (APPK) and the Bulgarian Investment Agency (BAI). According to her, the decision was taken against the interests of the state.

"I don't think this decision can be appealed. As a party represented in the National Assembly, the APS can raise this issue in the National Assembly itself, to request information from the Prime Minister about how this building was provided, how it was determined that this particular area should be used by the DPS, and in fact, the National Assembly itself could pass a decision obliging the Council of Ministers to change this decision. First, the National Assembly must be operational in order for any hearings to be held and any decisions to be made.

A striking demonstration of power and who is currently running the state, Todeva summarized and pointed out that the state is run by Delyan Peevski through Dimitar Glavchev and with the inaction of Boyko Borisov.
