A crash with a heavy truck closed traffic on the "Trakia" highways. and "Maritsa" at the 168th kilometer to the "Plodovitovo" road junction, BNR reported.
At the moment, traffic is only possible on the "Maritsa" highway. in the direction of Svilengrad. In the opposite direction along "Maritsa" is carried out via the road Haskovo-Plovdiv.
By "Thrace" movement on this road junction is impossible in both directions. The detour is both in the direction of Sofia and in the direction of Burga.
The local police department specified for "Horizont" that a truck with Turkish registration was involved in a traffic accident near the clover, in which the lane on the highway "Maritsa" passes over the highway "Trakiya" to join it in the direction of Sofia. The two parts of the heavy-duty machine were completely burnt - with the charred cab falling on the "Thrakia" highway, and the trailer remaining on top of the "Maritsa" highway. There were no casualties and no serious injuries. A possible cause is considered to be the driver falling asleep. Traffic is regulated by the Traffic Police, actions are being taken to clear the lanes.
