There is still no water in Pleven, although yesterday the authorities announced the end of the water regime in the city. This was revealed by bTV.
"Mr. Mayor, why are we still under regime, and you say in the media that the regime has been lifted? Why are you lying to people? It is inhuman, it is a mockery of people. How long will there be a regime?", citizens ask.
We remind you that the fallen snow canceled the water regime in Pleven and Lovech. This was announced on Monday by the mayor of the municipality Valentin Hristov.
However, the mayor assured that work to deal with the crisis will not stop, "because next year will come and we will be in the same, even worse situation".
Work will be done to reduce losses on the network and water supply. The projects submitted to the Ministry of Planning and Development have been revised, operational programs are being implemented to replace a larger part of the city's water supply network.
Official Minister of Environment and Water Petar Dimitrov pointed out that the driest period in the high mountain regions is February, when everything freezes. According to him, the repair of the water transmission system is absolutely imperative.
