From Mr. Delyan Dobrev, the whole parliamentary group of GERB and representatives of DPS, who are currently in the group of DPS - New beginning. With the signatures of these people, the rules were violated. Their biggest defenders, the ones actually advocating for this to happen in violation of every single letter of the rulebook, were the "We Continue the Change" and "Democratic Bulgaria". During the entire election campaign and even today, including a few minutes ago from the rostrum of the National Assembly, it was said that "Revival" in some way violated the order and performed unacceptable actions. This is what Iskra Mihailova from "Vazrazhdane" told journalists on the sidelines of the parliament, quoted by novini.bg.
"I ask people like Nadezhda Yordanova and Mr. Yavor Bozhankov, who often speaks from the parliamentary rostrum about rules, order, about how things should happen: how it happens that they tolerate everything, which is in absolute contrast with the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria, which happened on the last day of the National Assembly. The parliamentary practice is to elect the Speaker of the National Assembly. We have had a number of conversations with all the political organizations that have accepted this. Each of us has stated our positions clearly and must defend them. The fact that there are some political subjects who literally in one day manifest three, five or ten different positions, we cannot tolerate and consider it normal. PP-DB already occupied eighth, ninth position. COAT OF ARMS: seventh, eighth. Let them get together within their political organizations, understand exactly what they want and stop playing tricks on the entire National Assembly and the Bulgarian people," she recommended.
"We always have our candidacy, which we consider to be the best - Adv. Petrov. If he doesn't make it to a runoff, we won't change our position we've had so far," Mihailova added.
