A scandal arose between the Institute for Road Safety and "Construction Supervision" for the repair of st. "Military" in Sofia. During today's inspection, the chairman of the institute, Bogdan Milchev, said that construction is currently being done there illegally, because there is no final court ruling on the complaint of the residents there, BNT reported.
The supervisory consortium replied that the reconstruction of the street is completely legal, because the administrative court has already ruled that it leaves the appeals without consideration. According to engineer Iliya Zapryanov, the concrete that holds the new curbs is of poor quality.
Ilia Zapryanov: Here, look, there is no concrete, there is a dry solution in which there is no water. With just one "poo-poo-poo" smeared on top, said in Bulgarian - lies, smears.
Ivo Ivanov, representative of the supervisory consortium: Sir, introducing such jargon is unacceptable. These circuses you do here, where are you located? These curbs cannot be moved with a roller after 24 hours.
According to Bogdan Milchev from the Road Safety Institute, after the complaint was launched by the initiative committee, the construction should be stopped.
"Since November 8, construction has been going on here absolutely illegally, just like at "Hemus", Milchev said.
BNT: Who should stop this construction?
Bogdan Milchev: DNSK, we will refer them today.
The court left the complaint of the residents of the area without consideration, explained the supervisory consortium, therefore, according to them, the claims of the road institute about the illegality of the construction are not true.
"The court was perfectly motivated in its reasons, which issued a ruling on the refusal to consider the appeal, and in this part we are implementing this court act,'' said Ivo Ivanov.
The repair is on schedule, all the networks are already ready, said the supervisor. Traffic on the street is expected to be released by the end of February.
