Representatives of the European Parliament and the European Commission will visit the “Danube Bridge 2“ near Vidin, BNT reported.
The initiative was taken by the Bulgarian MEPs from GERB/ENP Emil Radev and Andrey Novakov.
The coordinator of the “Western Balkans - Eastern Mediterranean“ corridor will take part in the visit. in the European Commission Marian-Jean Marinescu, as well as representatives of the caretaker government in the country.
In the framework of the visit, a review will be made of the control and access facilities between Bulgaria and Romania, as well as their possibility to work in different control modes between the two countries, without creating prerequisites for difficult passage of light and heavy goods vehicles on the bridge cars.
