The National Assembly will begin work by terminating the powers of the People's Representative Tervel Georgiev in connection with his resignation. This is provided for in point one of the proposed agenda for the work of the parliament, published on the institution's website.
At the request of Kiril Petkov and deputies from "We continue the change - Democratic Bulgaria" (PP-DB) the parliament is expected to hear the Acting Minister of Energy Vladimir Malinov. The hearing is about the reasons for terminating the contract for structural planning, design and construction commissioning: “Expansion of the capacity of “PGH Chiren” – drilling fund“ between “Bulgartransgaz“ EAD and DZZD “UGS Drilling Chiren“ and the impact of the European Public Prosecutor's Office investigation on the deadlines for completing the gas storage expansion project.
In the proposed agenda for the first regular plenary day, at the request of Atanas Zafirov and Borislav Gutsanov from the "BSP-United Left", the parliament is expected to hear the acting Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev, the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivan Kondov and the Acting Minister of the Interior Atanas Ilkov regarding the measures taken by the government to ensure security in connection with the processes in the Middle East and more specifically in Syria.
Item one of the proposed agenda for Thursday, December 12, envisages that the people's representatives will listen to the Acting Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Lyudmila Petkova and five other ministers in connection with the problems with water scarcity, the measures taken by the government to overcome the water crisis in the short and long term. The request for a hearing was submitted by Kostadin Kostadinov and a group of people's representatives from "Vazrazhdane".
