The Plenum of the SJC will hold its regular session, at which proposals for candidacies for the President of the Supreme Court are expected to be submitted administrative court. This will be the second meeting in a row at which nominations can be made.

As the second point of the plenary session, it is expected to announce the date, time and place for the hearing of the candidate in the procedure for the election of the chief prosecutor, which was opened by decision of the Plenum of the Supreme Judicial Council by protocol.

On November 28, there was the first opportunity for nominations for a new president of the Supreme Administrative Court (SAC) in the plenum of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC). Nominations can be made until December 19. The election must take place on March 20, 2025.

The mandate of the current president of the court, Georgi Cholakov, has expired, but he remains in office as acting until a new incumbent is elected. On November 19, with 7 votes "for" and 3 "against" the judicial collegium of the Supreme Judicial Council opened a new, second procedure for electing a new president of the Supreme Administrative Court, after the previous procedure failed due to the lack of nominations and was terminated, writes BGNES.
