I hope that after so many years, in which Bulgaria was undeservedly stumbling, we will be fully accepted into Schengen. This was stated to BTV by the former chairman of DANS and Minister of Internal Affairs Tsvetlin Yovchev.
"In recent years in Europe we have had a serious failure in terms of migration processes."
Migration is an objective process, it cannot be stopped completely, Yovchev revealed.
Europe cannot afford eternal refugees who do not work and do not comply with our culture, added the former chairman of DANS.
Yovchev stated that after our entry into Schengen and by land, efforts to strengthen the border should continue. According to him, the external borders of the EU are not well guarded. "A technological upgrade is necessary. The infrastructure needs to be further developed and an additional presence should be ensured, he revealed.
It is precisely through the Netherlands, which stopped us, that the flow of drugs passes, concluded Tsvetlin Yovchev.
