Sabrutev: The SUV model is coming back - 1

The SUV model is coming back. With these words on the air of BNT, PP-DB MP Venko Sabrutev defined the budget proposal for 2025 of another caretaker government of Dimitar Glavchev.

How many times have you heard a salary increase of 50% to 75% - the SUV model is coming back, the proposed 2025 budget by the caretaker government of Glavchev, understand Peevski and Borisov, is scandalous, said Sabrutev.

According to him, the coalition voted with "abstain" for an increase in salaries in the Ministry of Interior (for 50,000 people), when a plan for the financial framework for the next 3 years was adopted in the plenary hall. "We are "for" there to be an increase in income, but in line with inflation - can more money be given to 50,000 people in the Ministry of Interior than to 2,000,000 pensioners", asked Sabrutev and added that there are not even any benefits provided for families whose children remain outside kindergartens.

"The fact that they will raise their salaries by 50% in the Ministry of Interior - they will take Batko and Bratko. There are salaries there that are 10 times different", insisted Sabrutev, doing the math - an employee appointed under the "Batko and Bratko" model; for example, with 3,000 leva. salary will increase by 1,500 leva, and an ordinary employee by 1,500 leva. there will be an increase of 750 leva. 35% average increase in salaries in the state administration (is planned) at 2% inflation - we will all have to pay them, with higher taxes, he emphasized.

What to do? Maybe the draft budget should be adopted at first reading and between the first and second readings there should be a real debate, Sabrutev explained. All overspending should be reduced to normal levels and the deficit should be kept below 3%, he added. And he said the obvious - a sharp increase in salaries in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and in a service like DATO, which is eavesdropping on us, that when the time comes, "fair elections" should be held.
