Tasko Ermenkov: If Borisov goes and takes the mandate as Prime Minister, it means that we are going to elections - 1

Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev will participate in a meeting of the European Council on December 19 in Brussels, where he and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will sign an Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Security.

"And Mr. Mitov said that this proposal is being submitted at the most inopportune moment, which would cause unnecessary disputes. And at a time when we are trying to find common ground and put the interests of the people at the center of attention. If there was any doubt so far whose interests Glavchev is defending, besides those of Ukraine, he is also defending those of Peevski," said BSP MP Tasko Ermenkov on "Denyat ON AIR."
In his words, when there is no state budget, we should look not for what divides us, but for what will unite us.

"When it comes to the future of Bulgaria, the knife is pressed to the bone, we are obliged to make our compromises, for the counterparties on the other side to make theirs, so that we can move towards solutions in the interest of the ordinary Bulgarian citizen. We are currently focusing on what can find common ground so that this people, who are already tired of elections and currently do not know what their income will be next year, can normalize all this," Ermenkov added to Bulgaria ON AIR.
A change in the dialogue is needed
According to him, if Boyko Borisov goes and takes the mandate as prime minister, it means that he has decided that there will be no government and we are going to elections.

"We are not focusing on personalities, but on what we want to accomplish. For the sixth time now, we have shown that without sitting down to talk, there is no way to form a government. We are making compromises and sitting down to talk with GERB. The way we are talking, there will be no government," the guest commented.
We have put on the table the resumption of the "Belene" project, Ermenkov pointed out.

"The moratorium could be one of the solutions to mitigate the price shock, but this will not systematically solve the issues in the energy sector. It will be temporary, the price will jump again, but there will not be such consumption as there is in the winter," he said.
