By noon, the fog will dissipate and sunny weather will prevail, BNT reported.
It will also be almost quiet. Maximum temperatures will drop and will be between 9° and 14°, in areas with more permanent fog - between 4° and 8°, in Sofia - around 8°.
It will also be mostly sunny in the mountains. A weak and moderate wind will blow from the west-northwest. Maximum temperatures on the highest peaks will be around and slightly above zero.
A significant drop in temperatures is expected at the end of the work week, when astronomical winter will also set in. Before that, there will be sunny hours on Friday. In the evening, rain will begin in the western regions, which will continue on Saturday, but due to the upcoming cold snap, the rain in many regions in Western and Northern Bulgaria will turn into snow. Snow cover will also accumulate in the Fore-Balkans, the high valley fields and in Ludogorie, and blizzards and drifts are expected on the mountain passes.
