The co-chairman of "We Continue the Change" Kiril Petkov has been indicted in the case for the arrest of GERB leader Boyko Borisov. He stated this at a briefing in parliament.
"Today at 5 p.m. I was summoned as a defendant. I was given a decree to summon me as a defendant. From today on, I am a defendant. The prosecutor who will lead this case is Angel Kanev - the former deputy chairman of the Special Prosecutor's Office, which we closed. There are no random things here”, Petkov is categorical.
“Today, Asen Vassilev's driver – Lacho, as we call him – was left behind bars during the Christmas holidays to show that they control these institutions. Lacho's family will only remain during these Holy Holidays. However, we remain firmly behind him, because they left him in custody without reason. Today, Lena Borislavova's immunity was also requested, and other MPs were also brought in, to throw dust in people's eyes and not to see that this is a direct attack on the PP”, Petkov added.
