A huge fire in an apartment building in Stara Zagora has claimed the life of a woman. The report of a burning apartment on Tsar Kaloyan Street in the city of lime trees was filed shortly before midnight on Friday, bTV reported.
The responding firefighters assessed that the fire was very extensive and threatened the other apartments above the burning one, so the residents above it were evacuated.
While extinguishing the flames in the apartment from which the fire started, a burned body of a woman was found.
Today, forensic scientists and firefighters will conduct a second inspection to determine the cause of the incident. Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated.
