New regions are in a flu epidemic from today. Anti-epidemic measures come into effect in Plovdiv and Blagoevgrad, BNT reports.
This brings the number of regions in a flu epidemic to 5 - restrictive measures have already been introduced in Haskovo, Vidin and Yambol. In Plovdiv, the measures are in effect until January 28, and in Blagoevgrad until January 30. An additional measure is also being introduced there - mandatory wearing of medical masks by staff in medical institutions.
Varna region enters a flu epidemic from tomorrow until January 29. And Yambol is the first area in the flu epidemic where children are switching to distance learning. The main flow of patients in front of the GP offices are children and the elderly. The main symptoms are high fever and cough.
