Beekeepers from the Dobrudzha region are protesting against the construction of energy parks on agricultural lands, BNT reported.
The protest will be held in Dobrich, and will march in a motorcade to the village of Stozher, along the main road to Varna.
The industry is demanding a moratorium on the construction of wind turbines, and that the Agriculture Committee in the National Assembly stop all procedures for changing the status of fertile lands and pastures.
The request is accompanied by a petition, which is supported by about 3,000 people from all over the country.
According to representatives of the renewable energy sector, however, studies show that wind turbines do not negatively affect the the bees.
