The Rosen Zhelyazkov government has no vision for governance. It came only to consume power. This was stated to BNT by PP-DB MP Vasil Pandov, quoted by news.bg.
He noted that the architects of this government are Boyko Borisov and Delyan Peevski. According to him, Peevski is at the heart of it. According to him, Rumen Radev's initiative for a referendum on the euro has stabilized the government, as it has diverted attention from other problems.
The PP-DB MP pointed out that the government does not want to make reforms. According to him, the goal is to control the regulators. Pandov pointed out that Borisov is leaving loopholes to escape from this government - first with his words that Rosen Zhelyazkov himself must seek a majority, and then with the claims that the support of "DPS Novo nacholu" is important for the ruling coalition. Pandov believes that what can bring down the cabinet is the loss of public trust.
He did not rule out the possibility that PP-DB could submit a vote of no confidence after the release of the convergence report. According to him, the vote may be on a variety of topics, since the government is not coping.
Regarding the eurozone, Pandov said that the battle for the euro is a battle for the future of our children. Integration into Europe also includes entering the eurozone. However, it has been delayed and that is where people's fear comes from, the MP believes. According to him, according to preliminary information, the convergence report is positive. According to him, the protests against the euro are the last attempt to bring down fear and turmoil in society.
Pandov pointed out that Plamen Tonchev cannot head both the National Agency for National Security and the Commission on Dossiers. He is of the opinion that Tonchev is resigning as head of the National Agency for National Security and the Commission on Dossiers. This opens up an opportunity for Peevski to take control of yet another institution, believes Vasil Pandov.
