After our admission to the eurozone, people will understand that this is for their good, and liars will remain in history. This was stated by Nikolay Denkov from “We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria” on the sidelines of the parliament.
“Before we entered Schengen, there was talk that we would be “flooded” with migrants. This did not happen and everyone saw that it was good for both people and business. Months after the introduction of the euro, the same thing will happen,” believes the former prime minister.
According to Kiril Petkov, the steps after giving a date for Bulgaria's accession to the eurozone are automatic and it does not matter which government is ruling the country at that moment.
The coalition announced that once we have a date for joining, it will submit a vote of no confidence.
