Borisov: I don't know if Radev has returned, he was in Tashkent, on big tours. It's his job whether he will convene the National Council of State

Dani Mitov was sent there to the Ministry to work well with the citizens. If he doesn't manage it - the question of his resignation will come. I don't want it, but he has to do what he has to do to ensure that the tasks are fulfilled

"There can be no greater escalation than the one in the Middle East. The world is becoming increasingly insecure", said GERB leader Boyko Borisov to journalists in parliament on the occasion of Israel's attack on Iran.

"Peaceful actions must be achieved in the entire region as quickly as possible. Iran is not that far from us", the former prime minister also said, quoted by novini.bg.

"Radev I don't know if he has returned, he was in Tashkent, on big tours. It's his job whether he will convene the KSNS. Whether anything will come of such a council, I don't know".

The problems are global. The world needs strong leadership - only then will there be world peace.

Israel hit Iran because everything that is happening in Gaza leads to these consequences. It's better to have a bad peace, there can't be a good war.

"The Yavor case is extremely unpleasant. Condolences to the young man's relatives," said the GERB leader.

"Dani Mitov was sent there to the Ministry to work well with the citizens. If he doesn't manage it - the question of his resignation will come. I don't want it, but he has to do what he has to do, to ensure that the tasks are carried out.

The employees in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, whom we stand behind, must have good training. If they are well prepared, they will have no problem with detaining these people. And they are not prepared and such things happen," he pointed out.

There is no Borisov government, there is a Zhelyazkov government, I am an ordinary MP, how many times do I have to tell you," Borisov got angry when asked if he would nominate a chief secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

"I don't go to restaurants and cafes, I stay in Bankya. Radev doesn't care that we give him a million a day, let him stay in restaurants," he commented on the president's latest appearances.

If Daniel Mitov is not a minister, he will be an MP, that's the law. He will hold a national meeting on Monday or Tuesday - he will remind them of what the law is.

They will bear the full weight of the law. It must protect them. We must find the right line - so that they feel safe and protected. "Let them not exceed their rights," Borisov is categorical.
