Yordanov specified that when force is used against the police officers, by law they have the right to use physical force. If they had batons and used them, the fight would have been even stronger, the guest admitted.
The former head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs agreed with the statement that the training of the police officers is lame. Yordanov admits that sometimes such training is not even carried out.

"There is a clear legal text that says when physical force and auxiliary means are used. If there are blows inflicted on the detainee after the resistance is broken, the law has definitely been violated. Minor bodily harm is a crime of a private nature. The very first expertise had given an answer, but many people pretended not to have heard it. A series of careless statements were made", the expert believes.
According to him, even without body cameras, there may be clarity in the Yavor case if the investigative authorities and the prosecutor's office do their job.
"Medical examinations are very important. There is no clarity about the injuries on the victim's body", emphasized Yordanov.
He admitted that he is skeptical about the effectiveness of police body cameras.
The castling in the security structures
"Currently, there is a person who performs the functions of the chief secretary. The person who is appointed chief secretary should first of all think about the training of the police. Managers work more easily with the intelligence officers. They are not only in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, but also in the Supreme Administrative Court and the Prosecutor General's Office... When we talk about the National Security Agency, I always recall that statement that Russia would not attack Ukraine.
