Yesterday we initiated a meeting with “We continue the change” in their office. We discussed the topic for three hours. PP will propose a clear plan in which they will conduct an internal investigation and how nothing like this will happen from now on. The truth must be established by the competent authorities. Four people are leaving PP, they are talking about corruption, pressure. This was stated by Ivaylo Mirchev, co-chairman of “Yes, Bulgaria” and MP from “We continue the change – Democratic Bulgaria”, on Nova TV, quoted by novini.bg.
“For anyone who enters the SOS, they should be aware that the economic interests there are very strong. People like Krasyo Cherniya, Orlin Aleksiev, and other dark economic entities are involved. Our municipal councilors were broadcast through internal elections. I am calm about “Democratic Bulgaria” and “Yes, Bulgaria”, for the PP, things must be proven. We are with them and will be in the future”, he emphasized.
According to him, the KPKONPI reacted remarkably quickly in the case of the Sofia district mayors: “I want to tell these two - Borisov and Peevski, who are currently smoking cigars and drinking coffee in Todor Zhivkov's office, that it will not be possible in this parliament to separate the DB from the PP.”
”In the DB, the check for whether there is a potential for such corruption practices has been completed. There has always been pressure on municipal councilors and district mayors. In Dobrich, four municipal members from the PP are going to GERB, and two from the DB are staying”, added Mirchev.
According to him, their plan in this parliament is to show that they are the alternative to the current government of Borisov and Peevski: „Borisov suffers negatives from this government with Peevski. However, we will not be the ones who will sabotage our entry into the eurozone. There are enough arguments for a vote of no confidence, but there will be one in September at the earliest. We talk to the PP about this every day.”
„Borisov has never opened any door for us”, he is categorical.
„Both Rumen Radev, Borisov and Peevski are our opponents in some respects. There is no ally in the fight against corruption“, Mirchev also said.
