A new protest by workers in surface urban transport in Sofia. The reason - the failure to fulfill the commitments to increase salaries in urban transport due to the delayed adoption of the capital's budget.

The protest is under the slogan - "Budget and salary increase now!" and is organized by the Confederation of Bulgarian Trade Unions and "Podkrepa". The protesters are demanding the immediate adoption of the budget and a salary increase of 300 leva.
In May, surface urban transport was blocked for several days due to a protest by workers. The cabinet allocated 15 million leva to the Sofia Municipality to solve the public transport crisis in the capital.
