This opinion was expressed to NOVA NEWS by the director of the "Electoral Analyses and Forecasts" department at "Gallup" Prof. Mihail Konstantinov.
„There will be no APS, there will be no "Majesty". There will be a larger "DPS - New Beginning", GERB will more or less retain its influence and that will be it. At the moment GERB and DPS NN are on the way to have a full majority, but a fragile one”, he explained.
“Unless a huge fat black swan flies in and crashes onto the political scene, this government will serve out its full term. The entire parliamentary arithmetic speaks for itself. Currently, the ruling triple coalition has 102 MPs. If you add “DPS - New Beginning” with 29, it becomes 131. APS is disintegrating at a constant rate and soon all its MPs will become independent and support the government. Soon we will have 150 people behind the cabinet, which is such a majority that there is nothing to even talk about”, Konstantinov also said.
According to him, the president has not yet decided whether to enter politics, but it is absolutely possible that this will happen.
”He has decided to wait for the end of the term to enter the political arena with certain risks, because by then his political influence "It could be quite eroded. I am skeptical that he will be able to make a successful and lasting political project," Konstantinov explained.
