The honeymoon between Trump and Putin is not over, believes Prof. Mikhail Stanchev. According to him, the two continue to act according to their formula - Moscow to stay away from the Middle East, and the US - from Ukraine.
The professor from Kharkov, who has been living in Bulgaria since the beginning of the war, commented to NOVA on the relations between Trump and Putin and the prospects for Ukraine.
When asked whether the honeymoon between Trump and Putin is over, Prof. Stanchev said: "I think he's not done yet, Trump still hopes to be hugged and kissed once more, he loves himself very much".
"From the very beginning, when Trump came to power, he sided with Putin and Russia, hoping that he would be able to achieve a truce between Ukraine and Russia, but Putin simply used him to drag him into this process", the professor commented.
"Trump is a very emotional person. He called Zelensky a dictator, then said he didn't say that. He is unstable and a big narcissist, they like to praise him".
According to Professor Stanchev, Trump and Putin have an agreement that Putin will not take part in what is happening in the Middle East, and Trump will not interfere in Ukraine. "I think this is the formula they are using for now", added Mihail Stanchev.
