Today we submitted a request for a hearing of the Minister of Interior in connection with the dismantled cigarette factory in Haskovo regarding suspicions of information leakage from the Ministry of Interior to Ivan Petleshkov (connected to both the factory itself and Peevski) and his alleged departure from the country after he learned in advance that he would be wanted. This was announced on Facebook by PP-DB MP Bozhidar Bozhanov.
"The dismantling of the illegal cigarette factory is undoubtedly good news, but the circumstances raise a number of questions - was information leaked from the Ministry of Interior to him and other individuals associated with the factory so that all those working there left before the Ministry of Interior's action?
Did the "Mintici" Agency establish high-risk routes with trucks that served this factory? And did Petleshkov leave the country after receiving the information at the Ministry of Interior from partner law enforcement agencies?
We will insist on receiving answers to these and other questions. After last week Daniel Mitov said "I wonder how many of my hearings they will request now", we want this hearing and hope that the majority will not reject it, as they did in the previous cases with the broken canal in Plovdiv."
