"Bulgargaz" proposes that the price of natural gas in August should be 62.08 leva per megawatt-hour (Mwh). The proposal is published on the website of the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC).
At this price, "Bulgargaz" offers to sell natural gas to end suppliers and to persons who have been issued a license for the production and transmission of heat energy.
The current price in July is 64.55 leva per megawatt-hour, that is, the price of this energy carrier may fall by 2.47 leva or 3.8 percent.
The approved price of natural gas includes the price component of natural gas at the entrance to the gas transmission networks, the component for the activity "public supply" under Art. 17, para. 7 of the Regulation on the Regulation of Natural Gas Prices (NRCG) and the component for compensation of costs under Art. 11a, para. 2 of the NRGCG, covering the costs of "Bulgargaz" for storing quantities in the gas storage facility in "Chiren", in fulfillment of obligations under the Emergency Action Plan.
