The State Electricity System Operator (ESO) has notified ERM West that from July 17 to July 21, 2025 it will carry out repair activities to reconstruct facilities at its substation in Kyustendil and the adjacent 110 kilovolt power lines.
The activities require a change in the power supply scheme for electricity consumers in parts of the municipalities of Kyustendil, Treklyano and Nevestino in the Kyustendil region, which may lead to power supply disruptions for the period from 08:00 a.m. on July 17 until 16:00 on July 21, 2025.
As the operator of the electricity distribution network, ERM West has an obligation to ensure safe conditions for operation on the network. Changing the power supply scheme cannot be carried out without operational switching, which leads to short power supply interruptions. ERM West is taking all measures to minimize inconvenience to consumers. The company is constantly ready to respond in case of need.
