Adv. Tanya Mircheva to FACT: We demand the resignation of Rositsa Kirova (VIDEO)

Many civil organizations demand the resignation of Rositsa Kirova because of her scandalous behavior during the debates for the election of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Bulgaria. I want to express my disagreement with such behavior, because Ms. Kirova is not just a member of parliament, but she is the chairwoman of the Commission for Interaction with Citizens and Civil Organizations. And this makes her behavior even more incorrect. She announced this to Lili Marinkova in the studio “FACT“ and the show “Conversation“ lawyer Tanya Mircheva from the civil association “Your Voice“.

We recall that on Friday, when the election of a national ombudsman took place in the National Assembly, Rositsa Kirova presented the report of the committee she headed from the parliamentary rostrum and laughed while reading out the names of the organizations that nominated Maya Manolova.

“It is not a question of whether we are affected, but we simply believe that such behavior is unacceptable. It is not so bad that the masks are falling, because it becomes visible that the political class feels contempt for the people. That is exactly what her behavior sounded like, but this is good so that Bulgarian citizens can see what the people who are in the National Assembly are - or at least a part of them. That is precisely why we are seeking personal responsibility and demanding an apology from Ms. Kirova and that she resign as chairwoman of the committee in question. She has not reacted so far, and this does not surprise us. She demonstrates an aristocratic contempt for Bulgarian producers - as for a lower class. It's just that politicians should be held personally responsible for their actions. In this case, what we saw was a rude personal attitude," the guest also said.
