Nidal Algaffari: Small parties are afraid that a Rumen Radev formation would swallow them up - 1

The protests in defense of democracy and the rule of law continue, and the no-confidence vote that the opposition was discussing seems to be postponed until after the parliamentary recess.

Are there any chances that the next no-confidence vote will succeed, or will it shake the government? In the program “This Morning“ on bTV, political analyst Georgi Harizanov, journalist Veselin Stoynev and political PR Nidal Algaffari spoke.

“This one will also be in vinegar, let it age. By the way, what will be discussed these days is a very funny topic, but, beyond all this, obviously the head of state, the president, has a completely different view. According to him, the squares are full of people protesting because there will be no referendum on the euro – I haven't seen a stranger statement from a head of state in a long time“, commented Georgi Harizanov.

Yesterday, Boyko Borisov defined PP-DB as a “pro-Russian party“ only because it discussed its support for the next vote of no confidence.

“This is really frivolous, as Mr. Harizanov would say, it is also funny. The problem with votes of no confidence is that they are raised by a part of the opposition, which passes the baton, while MECH is now submitting a vote, the other day Kostadinov was once again with “United Russia“ – greater independence than the 16th republic I cannot imagine. But the point is that with these votes, I heard from colleagues that they are a kind of armor for the ruling party, because when all the topics are exhausted – half a year later, you cannot ask for a vote on the same topic. And now after the fifth and sixth, there really will be no other topics left“, said Veselin Stoynev.

“Why is all this being done right now, including with the votes, when it is perfectly clear to everyone that they cannot pass at the moment, but they are obliged to appear a little more active, in this way to appear in front of the media and talk about their policies – and all of them are currently fighting for the electorate. They are fighting for voters, not that they will overthrow the government. But they are not fighting for elections, but for survival, because they are worried that it is very likely that Rumen Radev will create a political formation that will participate in the elections and it will absorb all these parties“, explained Nidal Algafari.
