After a chase through the streets of the Burgas village of Lozenets, the police seized a bus packed with migrants, NOVA reported.
The vehicle was carrying 24 foreigners. The driver managed to escape. During the chase, he hit two parked cars, then jumped out of the bus in motion.
It all started on "Strandzha" Street, where border police tried to stop a bus with a Ruse license plate, which was moving too slowly and looked suspicious. At that moment, the driver stepped on the gas through the streets of the settlement. No one was injured. Those detained are of Afghan origin.
Emergency teams are conducting medical examinations of the illegal migrants on site. The area is cordoned off.
