A cold atmospheric front will pass from west to east through the country, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) announced, quoted by BTA.
In many places there will be short-term precipitation with thunderstorms, with the phenomena being intense in Western and Central Northern Bulgaria, where the precipitation will also be significant. There will also be conditions for hail. The wind will orient from the west-northwest, it will strengthen and with it cool air will invade the country. By 3:00 p.m. temperatures will be from 23°-25° in Northwestern Bulgaria, up to 32°-33° in the eastern regions of the country, in Sofia – around 25°. The atmospheric pressure will be lower than the average for the month. It will start to rise in the afternoon.
On the Black Sea coast it will be mostly sunny, but later in the afternoon and evening there will be short-term rain in places. A weak wind will blow from the south-southeast, around and afternoon moderate from the south-southwest, which in the evening will orient itself from the west. Maximum temperatures will be between 27° and 31°. The sea water temperature is 24°-25°. The sea wave will be 2 points.
In the mountains there will be short-term precipitation with thunderstorms, but before noon from the southwest the precipitation will start to stop, by the evening everywhere. A moderate to strong southerly wind will blow, which will start to orient itself from the west-northwest before noon. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be about 21°, at 2000 meters - about 13°.
