Stanislav Stoyanov, "Vazrazhdane": The Bulgarian people do not want war - 1

The MEP, elected from the quota of "Vazrazhdane", chairman of the party "Europe of Sovereign Nations" and vice-chairman of the parliamentary group of the same name - Stanislav Stoyanov, expressed his position on Ursula von der Leyen's visit to Bulgaria.

"While the presidents of the US and Russia - Trump and Putin, sit at the negotiating table to seek a way out of the bloody conflict, Ursula tours the military factories. While Washington and Moscow are looking for a formula for peace, Brussels and Sofia are gearing up for war. Europe has two paths: dialogue or confrontation. One leads to stability and prosperity, the other - to large-scale war and destruction. Unfortunately, it seems that the Brussels elites have already made their choice and this is the path to war. But Bulgaria is not obliged to follow them. The Bulgarian people do not want war. We want peace, security and common sense. This is the path that we must stand for - clearly, boldly and with an eye to the future. ", Stoyanov wrote on social networks.
He also emphasized the fact that the European Commission presented Von der Leyen's tour of Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Romania and Bulgaria as a visit to frontline countries. According to him, this is indicative of the European Commission's intentions to continue inciting military actions instead of assisting in the peaceful resolution of the conflict. Stoyanov believes that the European Union is not learning its lessons from the conflict in Ukraine, in which Europe is paying with the most precious thing - human lives.

The MEP is categorical that the authorities in Bulgaria must do everything in their power to preserve peace in the country.
