The body of a man was found in the Ruse village of Shtraklevo, the regional spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Ruse, Daniela Malcheva, told BTA. She added that the signal was submitted this morning via the Single European number 112.
A team from the Dve Mogili Regional Office was sent to the scene. It was determined that the body is that of a 69-year-old local resident. The scene was also visited by a police task force and a forensic doctor. According to initial data, injuries caused by animals were found on the body. It has been transported to the forensic medicine department at the University Hospital "Kanev" in Ruse to perform an autopsy to clarify the cause of death, Malcheva also announced.
She added that pre-trial proceedings have been initiated to clarify the circumstances surrounding the case.
