A minor criminally attacked a pensioner in his home in Vrachansko and stole his last 60 BGN. The thief broke into the house of Ignat Petrov in the village of Banitsa in broad daylight.
The victim receives a pension of BGN 523. The attack was at 11:15. He heard the thief open the door. Then he punched him in the face. The juvenile took his coat with the last of his money. Ignat Petrov knows the attacker.
"This man lives in extreme poverty and is disabled. He is helpless and that is why they attacked him," Lyudmil Ignatov told NOVA. He had given the old man a loan, which he paid back as soon as he took his pension.
The 16-year-old perpetrator has been detained. He stole BGN 100 some time ago.
