A 32-year-old man died in custody in Yambol after being arrested for possession around midnight on Saturday of drugs. Relatives suspect police violence.

The next morning, two uniformed men went to the home of the boy's family and told them to “remove the body”.
The mother of the deceased 32-year-old Ivan indicated that the last time they spoke on the phone, he was cheerful. He came to the city to pick up his girlfriend and return to Varna.
Police say the boy committed suicide after hanging himself – a thesis that Ivan's parents do not believe at all.
The victim's aunt explained that when they went to the morgue, there were many bruises on his body, but they did not notice the typical hanging marks anywhere on his neck.
The parents demand justice and that all the circumstances that led to the death of their only child be established.
