Because of the violence in the malls, as well as because of the frequent cases of domestic violence, acting chief prosecutor Borislav Sarafov is calling a national conference. Representatives of the prosecution and the Ministry of the Interior will discuss effective organizational and other measures to achieve real results in countering the wave of violence in recent months.
Last week, Sarafov ordered immediate action because of attacks in public places and cases of domestic violence. The prosecutors will ask for the permanent detention of the perpetrators, the prosecution announced.
The Deputy Minister of the Interior and representatives of the police are expected to attend, as well as managers of all major shopping centers in the capital.
