After making a remark to a group of young people who were drifting in cars. This was stated by the Mayor of Ruse Pencho Milkov regarding the incident with Senior Commissioner Nikolay Kozhuharov.
According to him, Kozhuharov is in extremely serious condition in the hospital.
"I have no words to express my emotion at the moment I learned this. To attack a person who works daily for order and security is an attack on our entire city," the mayor also wrote.
It is even more bitter that Commissioner Kozhuharov was among the most active participants in the campaign we launched to counteract aggression among young people – in the sports schools and schools of Ruse. A person fighting against aggression is its victim, the mayor of Ruse added.
"As the mayor of Ruse, I state categorically – we will not tolerate violence and impunity. I demand that the perpetrators be immediately detained and tried with the full severity of the law. Ruse is a city of order and justice. We will strengthen our actions against aggression among young people. We will work together with schools, institutions and citizens to show that in Ruse there is no place for violence, reckless behavior and lack of respect for human life. Aggression will not win," Milkov added.
