Veselin Marinov mourns his deceased mother

Veselin Marinov is in deep sorrow after his mother Yordanka Marinova passed away a few days ago, writes HotArena.bg. The musician was very attached to her and because of her death he postponed his concerts.

"Dear fans of Veselin Marinov, it is with great sadness that we inform you that his mother passed away last night," it was announced on May 17 on the Facebook page of the famous performer. "For this reason, the concerts in Pleven and Gabrovo are being postponed”, it became clear from the publication.

The 91-year-old woman spent her last days in a hospice, which left the famous performer wracked with guilt. The bard was constantly worried and felt bad that he had made the decision to place his mother in a nursing home.

"It is very difficult for me to survive her old age. I only have her left. She is now in a nursing home where I go every week and I pray to God that she will live for many more years. She has given me everything I have in my life. My daughter brings the kids to her place several times. And I took her to their home in Sofia. My mother is very, very old, she needs to be taken care of, otherwise I wouldn't have taken her to such a home, but she constantly asks about the children…“, Marinov shared recently.

The caring son had placed his mother Yordanka in a private hospice located in the village of Podgorie, Kostenets municipality. The monthly fees there are not small at all – about BGN 1000, but Vesco was ready for anything just to take good care of his mother. He placed her in the nursing home after his father passed away suddenly in April 2018.

The pensioner was never able to feel sorry for her husband, but she agreed to leave her home in Polski Trumbes because she could hardly hear, could not see and could barely move with a walker, which is why she could not perform even elementary actions on her own. Although she lived in a pleasant environment and the medical staff behaved in a friendly manner, she did not stop suffering about her house and the life she led in her native land.

To cheer her up, Veselin would occasionally take her with him for a few days. However, he could not take her to his Sofia apartment permanently, there was no way to create conditions for a sick person, such as there were in the old people's home.

Despite the rumors that his mother does not approve of his relationship with his last girlfriend Veselin, who is divorced, Vesco is adamant that the two ladies got along great and liked each other very much.

"Both my mother and my daughter love her very much. "They are extremely close," he said some time ago. Meetings with her great-grandchildren were also a great happiness for the elderly woman. The singer became the grandfather of twins Veselin and Tsvetelina in 2020. His only daughter Joanna and her partner gave him them.

"There is no one in my native house in Polski Trumbesh anymore and I am afraid to go there. Since no one lives there, I don't go. Memories weigh heavy – every thing and plant speaks to you. I am very attached to the tranquility of my childhood. It's hard for me to describe what my native house is for me," the musician said some time ago.
