NOVA reporter Gloria Nikolova said "goodbye" of journalism. With an emotional post on Facebook, the beauty explained her decision:
"9 years. That's how long it's been since I crossed the threshold of television for the first time, confident that it would be forever. I didn't think of writing a farewell post, but among my friends here there are people who are still looking for me to solve everyday problems together. And I owe it to them.
For now I say “bye” of journalism and my childhood dream of being a reporter. Thank you for the trust, thank you for the chance to so many people in the profession that I met along the way, thank them for believing in me. They know how much I owe them, they know who they are. My decision to take a new path is difficult, but well thought out.
I told hundreds of stories, I felt other people's joy, but also pain. I was helping, showing and changing. I gained experience from which I learned that life is not always a pink bubble. In the newsroom, I leave true friendships, shared laughter, endless love and dedication to work, 24-hour shifts, sleepless nights and welcomed sunrises. To my colleagues - I wish meaning. And I, as before, will not rest for long, because new horizons await me.
