"We like Bulgarian food, it is so delicious. My favorite dishes are those with meat - for example, sausages, kebabs, and also chicken," Adreas Anschen, who is from Norway, told bTV.
Shop salad is liked by all guests from abroad because of the taste of the products with which it is prepared. But - products for it are difficult to find, because most of them are for export.
"And we are actually forced to work with tomatoes from abroad, with garlic from China. Garlic from China is at a better price than Bulgarian garlic,” says restaurateur Richard Alibegov.
Specialists advise to keep the receipt after visiting a restaurant.
"Our most important insurance is the receipt, so we can prove where a product that could negatively affect our health was purchased,” commented Dr. Andrey Velchev from the Association for Affordable and Quality Food .
During this tourist season as well, the Bulgarian Food Agency will check establishments by the sea on how they store food products and whether they have documents of origin.
