Better to take a few short vacations throughout the year than one long summer, the expert advises

Going on vacation in the summer doesn't necessarily mean you're going to rest qualitatively. The need to interrupt work in certain periods of the year was assessed by the psychotherapist and expert from the Hemotest laboratory Sergey Kuznetsov, reports Izvestia.

According to Kuznetsov, workers have been used to the summer vacation since the school holidays. However, the rest process is important for the body, not the time of year. If a person wants to relax in the summer, but does not have such an opportunity, it is worth determining what specifically attracts him to such a vacation.

The expert noted that even a short break of five to six days will have a positive effect on your physical and mental state. Instead of taking a long vacation once a year, he advised taking shorter vacations more often. “It is important during this period of time not to get involved in work processes and not to participate in the discussion of work matters, even remotely, at the request of colleagues and employers, otherwise the positive effect of the break will significantly decrease,”, he emphasized Kuznetsov.

During the vacation, it is recommended to relax physically and strengthen your immune system. Muscle, breathing or mental relaxation techniques will help. In addition, you need to sleep enough, walk, eat a balanced diet and eliminate stress. Giving up the routine in favor of your favorite hobbies will have a good effect on your condition.
