Indian businessman Deepak Pauskar told his story how he lost 23 kilos in three months. He is 51 years old and also suffers from hypertension and diabetes, writes burgas24.bg.
Deepak lives in Aurangabad with his wife, two children (a 17-year-old daughter and an 11-year-old son) and his father. As a child and in college he was an active athlete.
However, after graduating and starting work, he began to lead a sedentary lifestyle, indulging in high-fat foods and occasionally consuming alcohol. This lack of physical activity led to weight gain and poor health.
"Being overweight made me feel miserable and low on self-esteem during social gatherings.
I always felt lethargic and could not enjoy outings with my children, family and friends. "Being overweight-related medical problems like diabetes and hypertension further weakened me," he admits.
It was his health that turned out to be the turning point. He decided to change his life.
He began his journey to a leaner body with diet and increased activity. Pauskar started eating 2000 kcal a day and also regularly walked five thousand steps. Gradually, he began to add weight training and sleep eight hours a night, writes zdrave.to.
According to him, discipline played a crucial role in the process of losing weight. At first he had to follow a regimen, but soon he started to like it.
"If you stick to your plan without compromise, you will see the results you want,” he says.
So he began to eat four times a day.
Breakfast: 2 eggs, 2 slices of white bread, 5 grams of butter and 125 ml (approximately 400 calories)
For lunch - chicken dish with rice, vegetables or salad. (approximately 700 calories)
Afternoon snack - (200 calories)
For dinner he could eat a chicken burger, pasta or noodles (approximately 700 calories).
He gradually increased his activity to 8,500 steps a day and began to exercise at least 15 minutes a day in addition to strength training.
