A British man ate 720 eggs in less than 1 month for a scientific purpose, dariknews.bg reported.

Boiled, fried, poached or scrambled, Harvard medical student Nick Norwitz enjoyed them either way.

He spent 28 days eating eggs, averaging one egg every hour. Since he also had to sleep, he ate 24 eggs every day.

Nick wanted to prove how this extraordinary diet affects his body of a 28-year-old man.

After the one-month experiment, the levels of “bad“ Nick's LDL cholesterol dropped by 20 percent, overturning the popular belief that too many eggs cause cholesterol to spike.

Nick has a PhD in Human Brain Metabolism from Oxford University and is now training to become a doctor at Harvard. He focuses on eggs because of their association with cholesterol, but also because he really likes to eat them.

“The logic is that if you have too much cholesterol in your blood, it will come from the food you eat – and eggs are high in cholesterol, he says.

What I intended to do was to expand on what is becoming increasingly common knowledge: that dietary cholesterol in the form of food like eggs does not necessarily raise blood cholesterol, says the medic.

After making the results of his egg challenge public, Nick received a gift from an American farm that will supply him with free eggs for a whole year. “I am more than happy to accept. Medical school is expensive, and this way I'll have nice and free food for a whole year," adds the future luminary in medicine.

If in a month he is able to eat 720 eggs, then we do not think whether in 12 months he will not bring the farm to bankruptcy...
