President Donald Trump used his free time aboard Air Force One on Friday to insult “disgusting idiot” Bruce Springsteen and declare that Taylor Swift “is no longer sexy” on social media, dariknews.bg reported.
Trump, who is returning from a turbulent diplomatic tour of the Middle East, used his Truth Social platform to clash with Springsteen, who told a British audience this week that his country is now ruled by a “corrupt, incompetent and traitorous administration.”
In response The 78-year-old Republican said the legendary rock musician, nicknamed “The Boss“, is “greatly overrated“.
“I never liked him, never liked his music or his radical left-wing politics, and more importantly, he is not a talented person – just a cocky, disgusting IDIOT. Springsteen is an outspoken critic of Trump and last year endorsed Democrat Joe Biden's re-election campaign, which was ultimately abandoned.
While in Manchester as part of his tour “Land of Hope & Dreams“, he told his fans: “My home, the America I love, the America I have written about, the beacon of hope and freedom for 250 years, is in danger.“
“Speak up against authoritarianism and let freedom prevail“, Springsteen urged.
Trump also spoke out strongly against Swift, who supported Biden's running mate for the Democratic Party's presidential nomination in the 2024 elections, Kamala Harris.
The American president wrote: “Has anyone noticed that since I said “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT“, she is no longer “SEXY“? He appears to be referring to a post from last September year.
Swift, 35, is the richest musician on the planet with a personal fortune estimated at $1.6 billion, 14 Grammy Awards and 30 MTV Video Music Awards.
